What In The World Have We Been Up To?

 

Hello Friends!

Well, its been a good past couple weeks. And boy, have we been up to some super fun things! Ill walk you through everything.

First, Paige had her final dance concert as a preprofessional company member of her dance school.

It was great fun. Me and Rocky had to stay home though!! No worries, we had some fun ourselves hehe.

After that we had a week where everyone looked like this:

Then Paige got a NEW CAR!

Then I did some more sleeping… standing up.

Rocky prefers to sleep like this:

Paige’s human brother is learning to cook and he made an omelet. We got to eat the crumbs.. hehe!

Then Rocky decided to sleep on Paige like a log:

Wordless Wednesday–Rocky

Weekend!

Hi Friends!

We’ve had a nice, enjoyable weekend. Paige ran in the Mach 1 Mud Run this weekend and had a blast. She was in the top 20% of runners, easily! While we don’t have pictures of the obstacles, we do have a picture of her shoes after-wards (lets just say her body was even MORE muddy) and then the other picture is of the tag you get when you finish!

While Paige was being active, fit, running and what-not, we sat on our butts. As usual.

Graduation & Sophy!

Hello Friends!

Our dearest owner, Paige, GRADUATED this past weekend! She graduated from High School! We are very proud of our master (age is no factor here – she’s definitely the boss –but a loving boss at that) and am looking forward the adventures that lie ahead (like, oh, I dunno,… going to college with her!! shhhhhhhh it’s a secret, we’ll do an upcoming post about it soon!)

She also was dog sitting our dear friend Sophy (remember her?) during the weekend. We had fun. The 3 of us ran the place!! Here is what our week looked like:

Here in Southern California, it’s been a beautiful day!!! A nice breeze, sun, and cool air. Rocky preferred to stay inside… but I wanted to hit the dirt!

We’re Back!

Hi Friends,

I’m sorry for the temporary HIATUS we had to go on. We’ve been very busy, but are back and ready to do some serious blogging!!

In our last post, We had just adopted Rocky. With Rocky came some new health issues, worms, and a serious matted coat. With some work, and determination, Paige has Rocky trained and healthy! (Heck, he’s healthier than me!)

I’ve been doing well. My allergies are back and coming on strong this summer. Whatever it is that I’m allergic too, seems to be extra bad right now. However, with my daily antihistamine pills and cortisone on hand, we can keep it under control!

At the end of this summer, we are leaving sunny California and moving to Iowa! Exciting huh? We’ll have snow during the winter (YAY) so you’ll probably be hearing me talk about that a lot.

Anywho, hope you’ve been doing well. Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Meet: Rocky

Hello Friends!

We have exciting news to share with you. Due to some interesting circumstances, we invited a new furry friend into our family, and his name is ROCKY!

Here’s some interesting stuff about him (sorry for no live footage of this interview.. maybe next time)

Simba: What is Rocky short for?

Rocky: Rockstar… or Rocketman… not quite sure.

Simba: How old are you?

Rocky: Im 3 and 1/2 years old

Simba: Cool, I turn 3 this month! So how did you end up here?

Rocky: My owner died and nobody wanted me, I was going to go to the pound, then Paige showed up.

Simba: How long have you been at Paiges home?

Rocky: 2 weeks. She potty trained and kennel trained me already. Now Im working on Sit and Stay.

Simba: Cool, thanks for sharing!

 

We are having fun teaching him the ways of our family. Luckily, after a deworming and some shots, he is a healthy, happy boy who loves to nap and snuggle. Things are goin pretty good here if I say so myself!
